Happy May Day

Ephesians 2:8-10

New International Version (NIV)
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Have you checked out all of the May Day Protests going on? Wow, people are angry. They should be, but that's another topic.

Today I want to talk about this thing called work...  In relation to your walk with God. Listen I am not hear to preach, condemn, I am just here to say; I have been there. I came from a place that had me working for my salvation. One day a friend shared with me that it was time to put that checklist down and just release it over to God. It's not what I do. It's WHAT HE did.  Let God's grace rule. Listen to His word, Hear HIS truth. I went to the word. Asked for the truth. That's it, my life was changed. What a release, what a joy.

Thank you Jesus that YOU died for my sin. You offered me this FREE gift. Oh, Jesus... you have changed me. Even my bitterness is gone. You are so faithful to me. Thank you, that even though I am so stubborn; you are more.

Today on this day of International Workers Day. I rejoice and celebrate that I NO longer work for my salvation. I am forgiven. I will see heaven. I will live eternally with  my Savior.

 I won't turn back.

What about you? Tired of working to get heaven? So, stop. Ask God to show you the TRUTH. He will. He is faithful.
