Soooo.... How do you like the new name? You'll never guess who won the contest. YEP, my favorite neighbor. She text me. while I was setting at the orthodontist. with the littlest punk. Can I tell you I was a blubbering mess?! Seriously. Sobbing by the end of our conversation (is that what you call it when you text over 50 times in a five minute period?). Of course then I am called back to talk to the doctor about how punks tooth needs to be pulled. Dr perfect teeth just stared at me. I am sure he didn't know what to say to my big red shiny nose.

I really could not help myself.

I just finished a study in Acts.Where I learned just how single minded Paul was. I prayed "God, Oh Holy Spirit stir my heart toward single mindedness. God, I want to be obedient. I want to live a life that my whole purpose is to bring glory to your name."

Oh, help me. What have I asked for? Am I prepared?

Anyway, thanks to that amazing woman God placed in my life, I have a new name for this little blog. Now what kind of STUFF to give her....

Bloggers Block/ Hello Monday

Hello Monday... Already? Hello bank appointments. Hello listings. Hello showings. Hello dirty house?

Hello to even though my job is difficult at times God has equipped me.

Huh? Blogger block already? I ain't gonna lie. I have a bout 10 posts just setting in my box un finished. I have a great one about THE best birthday gift ever (given to me by my favorite neighbor). I mean this gift was amazing and I really want to share it with you.... but the right words are just not coming. Maybe I should just post pictures?! 


I have one on how to create the most fantastic vignette and one that tells you what to look for in a builder and their little secrets . Again. un finished. I am sure its because I have been incredibly busy... my mind has been on work. So,I write this to tell you, I have not gone anywhere. I will be back in the next day or two. For now, I am going to go get some cleaning done that has been put on the back burner...

Reflections in Real Life Blogland (this place is what blogs were made of)

This weekend we had an opportunity to go with our favorite neighbors. They invited us to their families property. It was a short two hour scenic drive out of the city. Just what we needed.




This property is what the L.O.V.E. of My Life and I call a Legacy Property. It is a property that is kept in a family and shared by. the. family to make memories. You all know how I feel about memories. Or maybe you don't... it has been a long time since I posted last ( bad bad blogger). This is something we aspire to have one day. 

Once I walked into our "hutch" for the weekend, I knew this was a place that blogs were made of. Each of the outbuildings have been made into quarters for guests and family to stay in. It gives you your own space to rest after a long day of FuN. It was at one of these down times I got to thinking. Why am I not blogging? I love blogs. I mean, I love to look at them so much, I just signed up for http://pinterest.com/ so I can have a quick fix through out the day. Encouraged by my youngest punk I am back at it.
